Almost Naptime - Oil on Canvas
On a trip through Yellowstone National Park I came across this pretty little spot.  I like the way the dry grass peaks throught the late autumn snow and also the fallen logs.  I envisioned a boar grizzly seaking a last snack befor he decides to head to the den for a long nap until spring time.  Grizzly bears are one of my favorite mammals; I have enjoyed seeing them in Wyoming and Alaska - it's a thrill every time!
